HEATING, VENTILATING, & AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) TECH II (1103-884‐936) MAINTENANCE
MT Pay Grade 7;
Beginning hourly - $16.72 per hour, 232 days; estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Federal Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant certified, other certification as required; Five years verifiable on-the-job experience as a service man without direct supervision; Demonstrates professional manner and aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities; Valid Texas drivers’ license and insurable; Ability and desire to grow professionally; Conscientiously maintains assigned paper work and records including time cards, purchase order requisitions, ordering references, etc., as required; Willingness to work occasional overtime. Applications accepted until filled.

TRANSPORTATION TEAM LEADER (1215-858A‐999) TRANSPORTATION
MT Pay Grade 5;
Beginning hourly - $14.33 per hour, 226 days; estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Demonstrates interest in an aptitude for work to be performed; Ability to grow professionally; Keyboarding and computer proficiency; Desire and ability to work with and communicate effectively with students and parents; Current Commercial Driver’s License and bus driver certification. Applications accepted until filled.

MT Pay Grade 5;
Beginning hourly - $14.33 per hour, 188 days; estimated 6.5 hours daily.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Ability to read, write and understand the English language; demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for work to be performed; ability to grow professionally; desire and ability to work with students, staff and other bus drivers; current Commercial Driver’s License and bus driver certification or certifiable; negative mandatory OTETA test. WAREHOUSE OPERATOR/DELIVERY DRIVER (TEMP TO HIRE) (0830‐840A‐999) –TEXT BOOKS AND FIXED ASSETS
MT Pay Grade 2;
Beginning hourly - $12.76 per hour, 226 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: Must have a High School diploma or GED; Experience in receiving, checking, pulling orders, stocking, shipping, and basic computer knowledge; Experience in operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks; Experience in warehousing and making “as needed” deliveries"; Must hold a current Texas Commercial Class B Driving License (CDL) and be insurable by TISD; Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. CUSTODIANS (117‐823‐999) DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade 1;
Beginning hourly - $9.55 per hour, 232 days; estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Ability to read basic operating instructions, labels and follow directions; demonstrate aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities; demonstrate ability to get along with others; use regular and high-speed buffer, stripper, wet and dry vacuum cleaner, carpet extractors, electric drill, shampooer, lawn mower, yard broom, rake and blower; possess good physical dexterity and have the ability to perform manual tasks and body movement including strenuous walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying up to 50lbs; work outside and inside; exposure to hot and cold temperatures; exposure to dust, toxic chemicals and materials; willingness to work occasional overtime. FLOATER CUSTODIAN  (0923-823B-999) DISTRICT POOL

MT Pay Grade 1; Beginning hourly - $9.55 per hour, 232 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

FOOD SERVICE WORKERS (0316-822-999) – DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade: 1;
Beginning hourly - $9.55 per hour, 187 days, estimated 6 hours daily.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Experience or ability to perform food preparation methods, cooking, serving, estimating quantities of food needed, storing food and supplies, and using kitchen equipment; Must exhibit knowledge of basic nutrition principles, food sanitation, and safety in handling food and equipment; Current Food Handler’s Certificate from the Health Department; Must work where assigned and be willing to transfer to different schools and different jobs if assigned; Must be able to understand basic math, be able to read recipes/production records, and document product production on appropriate forms; Provide food to the students and staff of TISD that is of high quality, following the district and state guidelines on sanitation, food safety, and customer service; Maintain the kitchen environment in an organized, safe, and sanitary condition.
