DISTRICT POLICE OFFICER (0510‐872‐999)DISTRICT POOL

MT Pay Grade 8; Beginning hourly - $18.54 per hour, 226 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Valid Texas Peace Officer’s license from TCOLE is required; General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws; Training in subduing offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs; Valid Texas driver’s license; Background in law enforcement or related work experience; Must have thorough knowledge of the family code as it relates to juveniles; Must possess the ability, patience, and appropriate attitude to impact safety, order and discipline by interacting with students and employees of TISD.  Applications accepted until filled.

HVAC, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II - FOOD SERVICE (0612‐884A‐999)DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade 7;
Beginning hourly - $16.72 per hour, 226 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Federal Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant certified, other certification as required; Five years verifiable on-the-job experience as a service man without direct supervision; Demonstrates ability to diagnose and repair kitchen equipment; Must have an understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, ventilating, pipe fitting, and refrigeration as it relates to kitchen equipment; Valid Texas drivers’ license and insurable; Ability to maintain assigned paper work and records including; purchase orders, ordering references, work orders, and other paperwork as required; Willingness to work occasional overtime. Applications accepted until filled.

HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) (0525‐884‐999)DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade 7;
Beginning hourly - $16.72 per hour, 232 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Federal Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant certified, other certification as required; Five years verifiable on-the-job experience as a service man without direct supervision; Demonstrates professional manner and aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities; Valid Texas drivers’ license and insurable; Ability and desire to grow professionally; Conscientiously maintains assigned paper work and records including time cards, purchase order requisitions, ordering references, etc., as required; Willingness to work occasional overtime. CUSTODIAL SOLUTIONS FOREMAN (0529‐527A‐999)DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade 5;
Beginning hourly - $14.33 per hour, 232 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver’s license; Five (5) years experience in Custodial/Supervisory capacity; Knowledge of routine custodial practices and methods; Ability to assign work, inspect work completed and write reports; Knowledge of equipment, chemicals, and materials used in cleaning processes; Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building maintenance; Ability to manage personnel

SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS (0316‐829‐999)DISTRICT POOL
BD Pay Grade 3;
Beginning hourly - $16.64 per hour, 183 days, estimated 4 hours daily.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Ability to read, write and understand the English language; demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for work to be performed; ability to grow professionally; desire and ability to work with students, staff and other bus drivers; current Commercial Driver’s License and bus driver certification or certifiable; negative mandatory OTETA test. Other requirements will be discussed at the time of interview. Insurance benefits eligible position. Applications accepted until filled. CDL TRAINING PROVIDED

WAREHOUSE OPERATOR/DELIVERY DRIVER (TEMP TO HIRE) (0830‐840A‐999) –TEXT BOOKS AND FIXED ASSETS
MT Pay Grade 2;
Beginning hourly - $12.76 per hour, 226 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: Must have a High School diploma or GED; Experience in receiving, checking, pulling orders, stocking, shipping, and basic computer knowledge; Experience in operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, preferred; Experience in warehousing and making “as needed” deliveries"; Hold a current Texas Class C Driving License (CDL preferred) and be insurable by TISD; Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. SCHOOL BUS MONITOR (0605‐912R‐999)DISTRICT POOL
MT Pay Grade 1;
Beginning hourly - $9.55 per hour, 183 days, estimated 8 hours daily.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Ability to read, write, and understand the English language; Demonstrates interest in and aptitude for work to be performed; Ability to grow professionally; Acceptable criminal history; Desire and ability to work with and communicate with staff, students, and other bus drivers and monitors; Possess agility and strength for wheelchair work.
