The vacancies listed below are temp-to-hire and non-contractual (at-will) paraprofessional positions within Tyler ISD. All paraprofessional

positions require high school diploma or GED; proof of such is required at the first interview. Other conditions of employment are available at

EDUCATIONAL INTERPRETER, CERTIFIED LEVEL – ADVANCED OR BEI LEVEL III

(0328-801-999) – DISTRICT POOL

C/T Paygrade 8; $21.54 hrly; 185 days; estimated 8 hours daily; Wage/hour status: nonexempt
REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrates interest in and aptitude for work to be performed; Ability to grow professionally; Keyboarding, computer proficiency; Desire and ability to work with children; Minimum of 48 semester hours of college credit or pass a rigorous test to be administered by the District; Comply with RID Code of Ethics;Advanced or Level III Certification through the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) or certification deemed commensurate and approved by state and local entities. Applications accepted until

C/T Paygrade 1; $9.97 hrly; 185 days; 8 hours daily; Wage/hour status: nonexempt

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED; Have experience related to working with students or parents; Have a desire and ability to work with and communicate with staff, students, and parents; Oral and written fluency in Spanish and English; Computer proficiency preferred; At least 48 semester hours of college credit or pass a rigorous test to be administered through TISD. Applications accepted until position is filled.

HOSPITALITY FOOD PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (0505-723-838) CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY

C/T Paygrade 1; $9.97 hrly; 185 days; 8 hours daily; Wage/hour status: nonexempt
