Principal, Elementary School (675) – DISTRICT POOL 

A/P Paygrade 7; 219 days; $73,965- $92,121. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or higher with a major in educational administration; Texas Mid-management or other appropriate Texas certificate; At least five years successful teaching and instructional leadership roles experience; Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System appraiser designated by the district; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable.  Applications accepted until position is filled.

Bilingual/ESL Instructional  Specialist (Secondary) (630B) – BILINGUAL

A/P Paygrade 3; 214 days; $54,817 - $67,043. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree, preferred; Three to five years of instructional support experience, preferred; Valid teaching certificate with at least 5 years successful teaching experience; English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching experience preferred. Applications accepted until position is filled.

Regional Day School Program for the Deaf Facilitator (640B) – SPECIAL EDUCATION

A/P Paygrade 3; 204 days; $52,256 - $63,910. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred; Valid Texas Teaching Certificate – Certified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing; At least three years’ successful experience as a classroom teacher; Diagnostician Certification preferred; BEI or commensurate certification preferred; Demonstrate knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation; Ability to work professionally with special and general education staff, parents, students, community, and administrators within Shared Services Arrangement (SSA) Fiscal and Member Districts; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Applications accepted until position is filled.

Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)(631) – SPECIAL EDUCATION

Special Education Diagnostician(639) – SPECIAL EDUCATION

A/P Paygrade 3; 192 days; $49,182 - $60,150. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

Master Teacher (905A) – BIRDWELL, CLARKSTON

A/P Paygrade 3; 192 days; $49,182 - $60,150. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree preferred; Master Teacher certificate, preferred; Valid Texas teaching certificate required; Three to five years successful teaching experience. Applications accepted until position is filled.

Speech Pathologist/Speech Therapist (616) – SPECIAL EDUCATION (DISTRICT POOL)

A/P Paygrade 3; 187 days; $47,901- $58,584. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree; Valid Texas license as a speech language pathologist/therapist granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or TEA Speech Therapy certificate; Skills in the use of tests and measurements for assessing speech-language disorders; Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech, language, and hearing disorders; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Applications accepted until position is filled.

 

Head Start Behavioral Specialist (608C) HEAD START

A/P Paygrade 2; 204 days; $45,439 - $55,279. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree; Supervision or Mid-Management certificate; Licensed Professional Counselor, or Equivalent; Experience in working with low-income families; Experience in working with Head Start, preferred; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees and the Policy Council may find appropriate. Applications accepted until position is filled.

 

Records Management  - Public Information Officer (656R) RECORDS MANAGEMENT

A/P Paygrade 2; 226 days; $50,339 - $61,240. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification required; Minimum, three years’ experience in office or administrative setting requiring customer interaction and service; Experience in records management and handling public information requests desired. Familiarity with the Texas Public Information Act or other governmental public information statutes preferred; Automobile travel within District and to local courthouses required. Assistive Technology Specialist (606E) SPECIAL EDUCATION

A/P Paygrade 2; 204 days; $45,439 - $55,279. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, with graduate work preferred; Teacher’s certificate, CIS certification, IPT endorsement, or specialized technology training; Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Previous experience working with students using alternative communication/assistive technology; Knowledge of common computer hardware and software applications; Basic ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and other technology devices. Applications accepted until position is filled.

Head Start ERSEA/Family & Community Engagement Specialist (609E) HEAD START

A/P Paygrade 1; 226 days; $45,768 - $56,188. Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
